Walking Tracks in Bacchus Marsh

The pathway between the end of Pilmer Street and the Ellersie Greenways has been re-opened yet again. It had been blocked (for anyone not built like a stick) by fencing at the end of the pathway.

Now, two spans of the chain mesh fencing have been rolled back and the top fence bar removed. You can now walk across the block from the Pilmer Street end to the track on the green way that connects with Simpson Street.

The pathway had been fenced off as part of the building of new medium density housing off Simpson Street. Representations from several residents, including members of the Bacchus Marsh District Trails Advisory Committee to Moorabool Shire Council have resulted in re-positioning of safety fencing - the pathway is once again open.

This pathway has been used by many generations of Bacchus Marsh walkers.
